Dr.Jean Robert Romulus is a highly experienced NY State Medical Licensed physician with over 43 years in practice. Dr. Jean Robert Romulus is a general practitioner with a specialty in pediatrics.

Originally from Port-au-Prince,Haiti, Dr. Jean Robert Romulus earned his medical degree in 1974 from Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie École de Technologie Médicale (Port-au-Prince,Haiti) where he graduated with honors.

Dr. Jean Robert Romulus receive accreditation for the ECFMG requirement.

Dr. Jean Robert Romulus attended the prestigious general surgery residency program for Columbia University at Harlem Hospital-Wyckoff Heights Medical Center (Brooklyn,New York).

Following his residencies, Dr Jean Robert Romulus, joined the Lyndon B Johnson Health Complex In 1981. He served as the head of the State School Health Program where he supervised 8 schools in the Brooklyn area.

In 1982 Dr. Romulus served as a doctor in the U.S. Army Reserve. He attained the rank of Major and was a member of the 423rd evacuation hospital unit, swerving at the Ainsworth Army Health clinic at Fort Hamilton New York (1982-1997). In 2001, Dr. Rommulus was honorbly discharged.

In 1985 Dr. Jean Robert Romulus started Excelsior Medical Group located at 1428 Flatbush Avenue. His love for the community extended beyond the four walls of his medical clinic. Throughout the late '80s and early 90's during the hight of the AIDS epidemic Dr.Jean Robert Romulus volunteered at free local community centers. He also marched in the historic Haitian AIDS march of April 20, 1990 across the Brooklyn Bridge to the steps of Federal Plaza to help bring awareness about aids to underserved members of the community.

Dr. Jean Robert Romulus recognizes how important it is that his patients understand their symptoms, conditions and treatment options. He firmly believes in exhausting all non-operative modalities. Dr. Jean Robert Romulus' philosophy is that after God, mental stability, physical fitness, exercise and diet play a key roll in over all health.

In 1985 Dr. Jean Robert Romulus MD, was appointed by the US Board of Immigration and Naturalization,Services as a civil surgeon qualified to perform physical examinations to all seeking their green card in the completion of the form I-693.
